Vibratory Coring:

The Anacostia River Train Derailment

EEA Mobilizes to Washington D.C.

Dear EEA Friend,

This Winter’s Issue reports EEA’s involvement in the CSX Anacostia River Train Derailment that occurred late this fall in southeastern Washington D.C.  Our vibratory coring expertise was coupled with a rapid response to assess the contamination caused by coal cars filled to the brim, plunging into the river, releasing coal and disturbing sediments.  Link here to see some extraordinary photos and read the full story.
