Parking Systems Offer Air Quality and Fuel Consumption Benefits

ECOLOGY DIVISION

Laura Schwanof, Vice President of our Ecology Division, provided her services as a judge for the NYS Envirothon.  High School students presented their master plan for LI to increase biodiversity and preserve sensitive habitats on Long Island.  Laura also assisted NYS Parks with evaluations fort the CUNY Landscape Architecture program.  Students gave final presentations on Pine Barrens restoration. PHASE I AND HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DIVISIONS

Members of our Phase I and Phase II HazMat Division participated in and sponsored the Big Apple Brownfield Workshop coordinated by the NYC Office of Environmental Remediation.  The workshop was held at CUNY Center on June 16th.  Contact Nick Recchia at our Garden City office for details.

The Environmental Bankers Association met in Chicago last month for their “Winds of Change” themed conference.  Richard Fasciani and Nicholas Recchia attended the four day conference.  They both can be reached at our Garden City office at (516) 746-4400.
