This summer, EEA's Principals, Leland Hairr, Allen Serper, and Roy Stoecker are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of founding their environmental consulting firm, EEA, Inc (a.k.a. Energy & Environmental Analysts, Inc), headquartered in Garden City, N.Y.  EEA has established a diversified environmental sciences practice in the metro-New York area, working for governmental agencies and private clients.  Although many small consulting firms have been acquired by large firms during the past 15 years, EEA's Principals have rejected acquisition offers, preferring to continue independently as a relatively small (approximately 25 professions) environmental specialty firm with a close "extended family" working relationship with the staff.

This Special Summer Edition of our newsletter gives the reader an interesting account of EEA's early years (when we all used typewriters to generate our newsletters!) and demonstrates how we have grown, become highly versatile in the challenging and multi-faceted field of environmental science and expanded our services to meet those needs.
